1. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF HOUSING REAR MOUNTING BRACKET RH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and the rear mounting bracket.

2. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF HOUSING REAR MOUNTING BRACKET LH

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

3. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts, room light bracket and drive gear.

4. REMOVE SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the screw and the sliding roof piece RH and LH.

(b) Slide and remove the sunshade trim.

5. REMOVE ROOF REAR DRIP CHANNEL

(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and then slide the rear roof rear drip channel rearward to remove it.

6. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

NOTICE:

Do not disassemble the sliding roof drive cable sub-assembly except when replacing it.

(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw.

(b) Slide each roof wind deflector lifter link in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove it.

(c) Place matchmarks on the sliding roof drive cable sub-assembly and sliding roof housing sub-assembly.

(d) Hold down the window deflector.

(e) Slide the sliding roof drive cable sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove it.
